Founder/CEO: Sarah Min

Sarah graduated Magna Cum Laude from Carleton College in 2017 with a BA in Biology and was inducted into the Phi Beta Kappa national honor society. At Carleton, Sarah extensively honed her writing, reading and communication skills by taking numerous courses in the humanities. Also, while juggling an intense academic and extracurricular workload, Sarah actively tutored middle school and high school students for SAT and ACT prep and also assisted students with coursework. Sarah has also served as a TA for college students taking organic chemistry and has accrued thorough experience in successfully helping students grasp challenging materials more easily. As a bilingual student fluent in English and Korean, Sarah understands the difficulties of mastering a second language and aims to help students gain more confidence in another language, such as English. She is always excited to help students excel and make tangible progress in their academics and looks forward to meeting new students!

Ayumi Sakamoto

Ayumi is currently a senior at Carleton College majoring in Biology and minoring in neuroscience. She has extensively tutored students from ages 4 to 16 for ESL, SSAT, SAT, ACT and TOEFL Junior exams as a full time tutor during her summer and winter breaks. Primarily, she has worked with students who struggle on the verbal sections of  standardized tests and has successfully helped them score higher. Being bilingual in English and Japanese, Ayumi understands the challenges of developing competency in another language and hopes to help other students gain more confidence in their English skills. She especially enjoys witnessing students progress and increase their confidence over time and hopes to continue to assist other students strive to reach their academic goals.
